Gap teamed up with InterPop to launch an NFT collection on Tezos, rolling out a gamified digital experience allowing customers to purchase a limited-edition Gap hoodie.

Gap partnered with artist Brandon Sines, creator of the Frank Ape cartoon character on the designs.

“Gap has always been at the intersection of music, art and culture so we are excited about this growth opportunity in the digital space” commented Gap Chief Product Officer, Chris Noble at the launch.

GAP x Dogami

More recently, Gap partnered with Dogami, the world’s first play-to-earn Petaverse game centered around full ownership of your 3D NFT dog. This first collaboration allows collectors to personalise and accessorize their virtual companions with the in-game wearables. 

The NFT hoodies have utility as they allow players to enhance the individual style of their NFT dogs, impacting in-game stats which is usually only possible by earning rewards. The July launch saw 12,000 NFT wearables designed for Dogami Avatars.
